FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Your pack will activate from the date of your first booked class. If you haven’t booked a class your expiry date will show a tentative one until a class is booked.

    You have 6 months to activate the pass once purchased.

  • Yes, our classes are designed for adults. You have to be over the age of 18 years old to attend our classes. If you are under 18 you may participate in classes if a legal guardian can sign the New Client Form at the beginning of your first class.

    Minimum age permitted is 16 years.

  • This is dependent on your injury. Please speak to one of our instructors before participating in class to make sure our classes will be suitable for you.

    • Reformer classes have 12 spots.

    • Mat classes have 27 spots.
      * Our Stretch & Meditation class has 20 spots.

  • • 2 Bathrooms

    • 1 Shower

    • Lockers & Cubbies for personal belongings

  • Yes, we offer 1 on 1 private classes. These are booked by appointment only outside of our group class times. Please email hello@sixtwopilatesandyoga.com.au for further information.

    • If you are a current client at Sixtwo Pilates & Yoga and fall pregnant, you will be able to continue attending Reformer Pilates classes. Please send an email to hellow@sixtwopilatesandyoga.com.au.

    • If you have not been to Sixtwo Pilates & Yoga prior to becoming pregnant, we have a cut off at 15 weeks.

    • If you are new to Sixtwo Pilates & Yoga and further along in your pregnancy unfortunately, you will not be able to attend our group classes therefore, we recommend private classes.

    • Classes in our mat studio are not suitable for pregnant clients.

    • No Late entry is permitted.
      *The studio doors are locked once class is in session.

    • New clients must arrive 10 minutes before the start time of their booked class to allow for a studio introduction.

    • The instructor has the right to refuse a NEW clients class attendance if they arrive at the start time of the class. On this occasion, your class credit will be forfeited or “no show” fees will apply. This policy is in place for your safety, security and to avoid disruption to the trainer and other clients.

  • We have a variety of classes to suit everyone. We recommended starting with a Fundamentals (reformer studio) class and a Mat Pilates or Stretch & Meditation (mat studio) class for beginners.

  • What to bring for Reformer Classes:
    Gripp Socks*, Drink Bottle, Small sweat Towel

    What to bring for Mat Classes:
    Yoga Mat*, Drink Bottle, Small Sweat Towel Large Sweat Towel

    • Please arrive 10 minutes early before the start of your first class. This allows time for you to meet your instructor and familiarise yourself with the studio.

    • We recommend wearing comfortable gym clothing.

    • *Gripp socks can be purchased at the studio.

    • *Sixtwo Pilates & Yoga does provide yoga mats however please feel free to brig your own.

  • To book into classes you will need to create an account, log in and book online through the Sixtwo Pilates & Yoga app or book through our website

  • Always join a waitlist.

    Our waitlists move quickly and you are highly likely to get into the class. You will be notified via text/email if you have been added to the class.

    You can be notified up to 1hr prior to the start of class, if you are no longer able to attend please ensure you reply “No” or “Cannot Attend” so the next person in line can be allocated the available spot.

  • Yes, classes must be cancelled 6 hours prior to the start of the booked class to avoid you forfeiting the class.

    If you cancel the class 6 hours or more before the start of class, the class will be credited back to your account.

    If you cancel less than 6 hour, you will forfeit your class and late cancel fee of $5 will apply.

    No shows: If you are not longer able to make your class and fail to cancel the reservation you will forfeit the class and a no show fee of $10 will apply.

  • Please send an email to hello@sixtwopilatesandyoga.com.au request a suspension or cancellation of your membership.

    • 7 days notice is required for all membership suspensions.

    • 2 Debits notice (2 payments) is required for membership cancellations.
      * Memberships cannot be cancelled whilst membership is on suspension..
      * The cancellation will take place following the suspension period, in this case, 2 debits notice (2 payments) is required.
